John Gretton Willink, better known by his stage name Jocko Willink, is a former Navy SEAL naval officer who is also an author and podcaster. Jocko served the military for 20 years, including in the Iraq war. During his time in Iraq, he commanded Navy SEAL Team 3’s Task Unit Bruiser, which fought Iraq insurgents in Ramadi. He reached the ranks of Lieutenant Commander, and his service was honored with a Bronze and Silver Star Medal.
After his retirement, he co-authored various books including Extreme Ownership and The Dichotomy of Leadership with Leif Babin. Aside from that, Jocko co-established the leadership consulting firm known as Echelon Front with his former SEAL comrades.
Additionally, Jocko hosts weekly a podcast called The Jocko Podcast alongside Brazilian jiu-jitsu instructor Echo Charles.

Jocko met Helen in Bahrain, where she worked as a flight attendant. He fell in love with the flight attendant’s beauty and immediately began dating her.
Afterward, the couple officially exchanged vows and are gifted with four children. Their marriage is currently ongoing for a span of 20 years.

Helen Louise Willink, commonly known as Helen Willink first saw the light of day on the 20th of June 1970 in England. Currently, her eldest daughter attends the University of California in Berkeley. In addition, Rana and Thor pursued their father’s likings toward professional wrestling.
Rana is currently a senior and a member of the wrestling team in Point Loma. She recently qualified at the state wrestling tournament while maintaining an academic GP of 4.3.
On the other hand, Thor won third place in the City’s League Championship and placed fifth at the Masters at San Marcos High School.
