Houston Texans’ chief executive officer and chairman, Cal McNair, was born Daniel Calhoun McNair on the 24th day of October 1961 in Houston, Texas, to business owner parents, Robert and Janice McNair, and he has three sisters.
He attended Cypress-Fairbanks High School, the University of Texas at Austin, and Rice University. Cal was also a football player for UT Austin’s Longhorn team.
He was a general manager of the Baltimore Ravens and Washington Redskin before joining the Houston Texans in 2001. Cal inherited the latter team’s position after his father’s death in 2018.
