Michael Cameron Anderson, famous as Anderson East, was born on July 17, 1987, in Athens, Alabama. This American musician is currently based in Nashville, Tennessee. His music is distinguished as a combination of R&B, soul, and root rocks.
The 22-year-old Michael Cameron Anderson started his musical career through his first self-released album entitled Closing Credits for a Fire under the pseudonym Mike Anderson. But then began recording with the name Anderson East for the release of his EP entitled Fire Demos.
He then found his passion and continuous focus in producing self-released albums; among them was the Flowers of Broken Hearted, released in 2012, with two recordings. The album was made up of 15 recorded songs with two versions of CD for two distinct music genres.
The first disc was more on progressive soul and Americana vibe, while the other has a darker and more of a rock tune. As part of a PledgeMusic project, Anderson East personally funded the record, with some of the sales proceeding to the non-profit organization that helps distribute clean drinking water to communities that are bereft of this everyday necessity; the organization was called Water aid.
