Nikola Vučević and Nikoleta Pavlović’s Marriage
The Montenegrin-Belgian professional basketball player is married to his wife, Nikoleta Pavlović, a volleyball player. She also happens to be the sister of Aleksandar “Sasa” Pavlović, an outstanding NBA player.
He hails from Montenegro, where he was able to make the acquaintance of Sasa through the national team circuit since Nikola looked up to him as a mentor. Sasa served as his guide, which facilitated the latter’s initial encounter with his now-wife, Nikoleta.
Due to her brother bringing the two of them together, they knew of each other at a young age and dated not long after as he had had a childhood crush on her. Because he is dating her, he has been able to steer clear of potential distractions, lead a more tranquil life, and concentrate more intently on the game.
The couple reportedly tied the knot on the island of Sveti Stefan in April of 2016, as reported by the Montenegrin publication MNE Magazin. As a married couple, they are the proud parents of two boys named Filip and Matija.
Vučević discussed the ways in which his wife’s experience of having brought up with an NBA brother has helped him in a conversation with the Orlando Magic team website. They are the epitome of the term “perfect couple” and have a tremendous amount of love for one another, having been married for six years with no marital issues surfacing.
