Michael Pettaway Tomlin, professionally known as Mike Tomlin, is a widely known American football coach who presently serves as the head coach of the National Football League (NFL) team, the Pittsburgh Steelers. He was born on the 15th day of March 1972 in Hampton, Virginia, to parents Julia and Ed Tomlin.
He was previously part of the staff of other NFL teams, such as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Minnesota Vikings, before being hired on the 27th day of January 2007 to become the Pittsburgh Steelers’ sixteenth head coach.
