Jonathan David Buck, commonly known as Jon B, is a well-known musician from the United States active in singing, songwriting, and record production. Born in Providence, Rhode Island, United States, Buck grew up in the California town of Altadena.
In addition to his father, David, a teacher of music; his mother, Linda, a classical pianist; and his two younger siblings, Deborah and Kevin, who play violin and cello, he has a musical family. When it comes to his parents, his mother is of Jewish ancestry, and his father is Dutch.
