Though it is unclear whether they are only dating or are already married, he is already taken by his current partner. She is only regarded as Kirra, and her identity has been shielded by him from the media ever since.
It was only a rumor at first that he had been a father for the third time to a daughter with his new significant other. He then confirmed it to DailyMail.com, published on the 2nd day of March 2020.

Vanilla Ice and Laura Giaritta’s Previous Marriage
He was formerly wedded to his ex-wife, Laura Giratta. They first met at a 4th of July party in 1994.
With no proper engagement, according to her, they got married on the 30th day of March 1997 by a notary public at their mansion in Star Island, Miami. Their union had produced two of their children.
However, it is not a surprise to most people that their marriage has not been perfect and was rocky most of the time. For a long time, she wanted to file for divorce as she was tired of ‘living a lie’ but was afraid to do so.

That was not the only issue that got put in their marriage since, in 2011, reports had surfaced about Laura cheating on him with a cast member of The Vanilla Ice Project, his DIY Network home rehab show. Nevertheless, there were no further comments about the said issue.
His ex-wife revealed to DailyMail.com in October 2016 that their kids wanted her to file the divorce. Fortunately, it got finalized in November of 2019, and they were free after twenty-two years of an eventual struggling marriage.
