Carrot Top was born Scott Thompson on the 25th day of February 1965 in Rockledge, Florida making him 57 years old as of the making of this article.
He grew up as the youngest child in their family in a nearby town in Florida called Cocoa by American parents, Danna and Larry Thompson, a NASA Engineer.
He graduated from Cocoa High School in 1993, where he played drums for the concert and marching band of the school, and to Florida Atlantic University for college, where he first performed his stand-up comedy routine.
Carrot Top got his professional name when a local swimming coach referred to him as that due to his red hair, which became useful later in his life.
He had worked as a bank courier after completing college at some point in his career.
The longevity of his profession has allowed him to appear in many comedic stunts and gigs, namely, but not limited to, Don’t Forget the Lyrics, Space Ghost Coast to Coast, Gene Simmons Family Jewels, and Family Guy.
