Ronald Jason Eldard, simply known as Ronald Eldard, was born on February 20, 1965, in Long Island, New York, U.S. Eldard was born in Long Island, New York, the second youngest of seven children (he has four sisters: Laurie, Lana, Lisa, and Linda, and two brothers: Roger and Raymond).
He is of Scottish and Irish ancestry. When Eldard was a little child, his mother was killed in a vehicle accident, and he and his siblings were moved to live with other family members.
He lived with his aunt and uncle and went to elementary school in Utah. Ron went to Ridgewood, Queens when he was 13 years old to live with his sister Lana and her spouse.
Eldard studied at JHS 93 annex in seventh grade before switching to JHS 93 in eighth and ninth grades. He frequently wore the “Chicken Suit” mascot costume while working at the neighborhood fast food joint Chicken Galore.
His imitation of the performances of Steve Martin and Robin Williams was well-known locally, and he frequently performed comedies when given a chance. Eldard received his diploma from the Drama Department of the New York High School for the Performing Arts.
He also did magic tricks on the streets of Manhattan. He co-starred with Desmond Harrington in the 2002 film Ghost Ship as Dodge, a member of the Boat Salvage crew.
